The layout of the building was guided by several elements
the prevailing winds, the views, the curve of the sun and
the relationship that the latter must play with the 2 other buildings
of the site.
In addition, we have developed the SEAC building with the will to create an architecture evoking the world of the aviation industry while meeting the requirements of the of the program.
The location of services has been particularly studied in order to propose a building as functional as possible and easily accessible from the two existing buildings.
The main façade will be protected from the sun by a double system: a cap overhang as well as a series of sunshades made of stretched canvas to counteract the rays of the sun from the sun at the end of the day while preserving direct views on the lagoon. This series of stretched canvas, set in with a slight curve will evoke the profiles of wings plane. A variant in aluminum blade can be studied at the request of the project owner.
The entrance, deliberately wide, has been staged to that it is clearly identified at the entrance to the site. A Once the entrance is crossed, the interior of the building is revealed around a large central patio with vegetation around which the offices are distributed via a corridor per level.
The purpose of this patio is to create a microclimate inside the building and will participate in the ventilation of the building.
